Added a new note to help steer the player away from going in an endgame location early
Added an entire new section into the journal to reduce confusion about the deep wooded area
Added a new drawing into an existing journal entry that helps visualize a puzzle solution
Various changes to things that indirectly impacted players when trying to figure out a puzzle solution, hopefully this part of the game goes more smoothly now
Fixed a bug that created a new instance of the journal UI every time it was opened
I want my players to be able to beat the game too! This is the second or third update made for the sake of reducing confusion around the endgame area. I haven't just been 'fixing a bug once a month.'
That being said, I can only add hints so much before it reaches the point of spoiling the entire solution for the players. At the end of the day, the player is intended to use their noggin' as well as trial and error to figure out the puzzles.
If you're stuck somewhere, venture somewhere else. The journal is your friend, even more so after these updates.
