Hello @everyone
6 months ago, we started our indie dev journey as a duo, and today we're thrilled to launch our Steam page and teaser trailer. WELDIVER is a first-person simulation game that plunges you into the world of an underwater welder, one of the world’s most dangerous and highly paid professions. Each mission in Weldiver is a journey into the ocean’s depths, where players undertake the challenging work of maintaining offshore rigs, repairing underwater machinery, and replacing seabed infrastructure like optical cables and power lines.
The name WELDIVER combines "weld" and "diver," encapsulating the role with simplicity. Underwater welders confront numerous hazards; in fact, they are 40 times more likely to face life-threatening situations compared to the average worker. Every meter they descend increases risk, as crushing pressure, near-freezing temperatures, and toxic gases make survival even more precarious.
