Design a dungeon for the hero
Welcome to the Dungeon is a grid-based strategy puzzle where you do not control the hero directly. Instead, you arrange monsters and dungeon objects, shape the hero’s route, and decide the order in which they encounter battles, recovery, and rewards.
Fighting more—and stronger—enemies helps the hero grow faster, but also increases the risk that they fall before reaching the destination. Rearrange the dungeon, observe the results, and find a solution that allows the hero to survive, reach the ending, and grow according to your plan.
About this web demo
This is the approximately 30-minute demo previously shown at Burning Beaver, an indie game event held in Seoul. It lets you experience the core gameplay of Welcome to the Dungeon: placement puzzles, automatic exploration, and hero growth.
The version currently in development is expanding these systems with more content and depth. The content, balance, and presentation of this demo may change during development.
Build the dungeon. Raise the hero.
After playing, please consider leaving your thoughts in the comments on the itch.io page. Your feedback will help guide the game’s continued development.
