Webstore Mogul changes
It’s finally here! The new Webstore Mogul update.
And it finally brings THE new feature you’ve been wanting since day one: the employee now helps you pack orders.
But that’s not the only new feature – here’s a quick summary in case you don’t feel like reading the whole thing:
Employees now pack orders
New languages have been added: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian
Competitors have been implemented, which you can buy out
The website builder has been revamped and a competition added
IMPORTANT!
The update was complex, especially the new staff feature. As a solo developer working on this alongside a full-time job, I have to manage my time as best I can. Even though I always test everything thoroughly beforehand, I’m bound to miss some bugs. Please, please report them so I can fix them as soon as possible.
But now to the new features in detail:
Staff pack orders
You can now assign a staff member to a station by interacting with the board attached under the table. The staff member will then start working through the oldest open order. If they cannot find a product on the shelves, they will set the order status to ‘Missing’. If you find any errors here, please document them for me.

New languages
Translating the game into new languages has been on the cards for a long time, and I’ve finally got round to it. I’ve had all the text translated using a translation tool, so there are bound to be a few odd translations here and there, or even some missing altogether. I’ve created a dedicated channel on Discord where you can post such issues. Please also feel free to suggest better translations.
The new languages are: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian
Finally, some real competition
From now on, you can compete with other online shops. These operate in various sectors and, just like you, generate daily turnover and profit, thereby increasing their company value. Keep an eye on which products are selling well for them and make a takeover bid as soon as you have the necessary funds.
I’ll be posting balancing updates here over the next few days to make the generated sums more realistic.
A new design
What would an online shop be without a website? Until now, the builder has been kept very simple. But now there are 10 elements you can use to spruce up your website. Why should you do this? There’s a new newspaper that lists and rates the best websites every few days. But how do you manage to get a 10/10 rating?
