A brand-new update is arriving next Tuesday, March 10th โ and it's packed with content that expands the world of Gale Valley in a big way. New lands to explore, your first settlement to build, a dungeon to conquer, and much more. Let's break it all down!
๐๏ธ New Maps & Your First Camp
The world of Wayward Valley just got bigger. Several new maps are now available to explore โ each one adding fresh environments, secrets, and opportunities.
The biggest addition is your very first Camp โ a dedicated map where your settlement journey truly begins:
Build your first house and start shaping your corner of Gale Valley
Welcome your first NPC to join your settlement, marking the start of a growing community
Lay the foundation for what will become a thriving base as the game progresses
This is just the beginning of the full Building System โ expect much more to come!
โ๏ธ New Dungeon
Ready for a real challenge? A brand-new dungeon has been added to the world.
Face tougher enemies and test everything you've gathered and crafted so far
Rewards are worth the risk โ this is where the real hunt begins
๐ Level Cap Raised to 25
You can now push your hunters further than ever. The maximum level has been raised to 25, giving you more room to grow, grind, and gear up for harder challenges ahead.
๐ฟ New Resources, Armor & Weapons
The world now holds new resources to gather, opening up fresh crafting options:
Discover new materials scattered across the new maps
Craft new armor sets and weapons to gear up your party for the dungeon and beyond
More options means more ways to build your loadout
๐ฎ Looking Ahead โ Party System Revamp
After this update, our primary focus shifts to a major overhaul of the entire party system. Here's a glimpse at what's coming:
Class Skill Trees โ Every class will have its own dedicated skill tree, giving each role a unique identity and progression path
Equippable Skills โ You'll choose exactly 4 skills to bring into battle. No more carrying everything โ you'll need to think carefully about what fits the fight
Build Diversity โ Different monsters and bosses will call for different skill sets. Tailor your loadout for each encounter and discover what combinations work best
Strategic Depth โ This system will completely change how you approach combat, rewarding preparation and creative thinking
This is one of the biggest systems we've planned for Wayward Valley, and we can't wait to show you more.
