Way of the Hunter 2 changes
There are fresh tracks in the dirt. Update 0.3.0 for Way of the Hunter 2 has arrived, and it brings new additions to the game. Three new species roam the reserves, new missions to chase them through, and a wave of improvements built directly on your feedback.

This update expands the wildlife roster with three new species:
Rocky Mountain Pronghorn in New Laurentia
Central European Wild Boar in New Laurentia
Southern Common Warthog in the Kilimaya Reserve
Throughout Early Access, your feedback has helped us shape and refine the hunting experience. Update #3 introduces a number of highly requested improvements, including a reworked Taxidermy screen, new Hunting Map filters to keep your information organised, a more realistic damage system so high-calibre shots that land outside the vitals now deal proper damage, new optics and callers, plus continued stability work, performance optimisations, and a long list of bug fixes - please check the patch notes below for the details.

Play Way of the Hunter 2 in Early Access:
We've also shared a new roadmap outlining where Way of the Hunter 2 is heading further. We'll keep releasing patches and updates that expand the game further over the coming weeks. There's a lot still to come.
And one more thing, multiplayer testing recently went live on the Experimental Branch, and we pushed a further update to it just a couple of days ago. Animals:

- TweakedImproved the damage system so high-calibre hits outside the vital organs now deal more realistic damage, addressing cases where animals could survive shots that should have been lethal

Fixed: Animals continue fleeing toward the world border and stay stuck in a running animation in Kilimaya Reserve
Fixed: Nile crocodile's spine doesn't register damage as a separate organ, registering it as bone instead
Fixed: Cape honey badger has a broken ragdoll
Fixed: Animals have broken ragdolls at higher levels of detail
Fixed: Female Spotted hyenas are displayed as males on the Claim screen
- FixedAnimals can get stuck in a rocky area in New Laurentia
Fixed: Birds keep flying toward the map edge while trying to reach their need zone
Mallard hunting refinements:
Fixed: Mallard territories now spawn at higher density with living zones closer together, for more intense calling and decoying

Tweaked: Senses tuned to support calling and blind usage
Known Issue: Kill damage from shot is a work in progress

Fixed: The game could randomly crash after 2-3 hours of play (GPU-related crashes in various locations)
Fixed: The game could crash when walking further away from the lodge
Fixed: Significant FPS drops near the water at Popobawa Vlei in Kilimaya Reserve
Fixed: Low FPS in the main lodge in Kilimaya Reserve
Fixed: An error message could appear repeatedly after starting the game
Tweaked: Hunting history now loads in pages, so it opens much faster for players with a large number of kills

Hunting Map & UI:
