addedIt's been a long while without news. As the latest build was looking stable enough, I didn't rush into pushing bug fixing patches every other week and started focusing on new content. I originally was eager to push the first huge content update for Wawa United on its first release anniversary, September 11th. Obviously, I missed the deadline*, but there is good news: there is a lot of content and bug fixes on the pipes. I have been putting every single hour of the time I had available into creating this new content and hopefully it will be worth it once it's ready. I am eager to share it with you, so I will use this post to detail what is going on, and also some screenshots!
added1. Komaka Islands are comingAfter the caves, part 2 of the adventures are about to be released. You will at last venture out of the Edge, to the Komaka archipelago. Introducing new enemies, new situations, a new power into brand new adventures. Your goal this time? Reach the mainland! Also, a new market is available with new hardware to further customize your home!
addedThe Infinite TowerThe Infinite Tower has been on the map long enough and it will soon open its doors to eager adventurers. It is a dungeon to be explored alone, with a sequence of increasingly difficult challenges that are constantly changing. The first frog to reach its end will be richly rewarded, which doesn't mean other contenders won't. Whenever the end is reached by anyone, the whole dungeon resets with a brand new challenge. Also, you may meet new "friends" on the way.
changedCandy LandNot only the Komakas are coming, but also the land of Candies. There is still so much to do so this one. it might not be present in the next update. However it should follow shortly and introduce the first 4 players map in the game.
changedFull controller supportIt was ridiculous that the game only supported controllers as an afterthought and didn’t allow for alternative key mappings. This will now be fixed. Note that the game still does not support couch multiplayer : you can play solo, but only by controlling frogs one after the other.
changedGraphic and performance improvementsUI has been polished. All levels, even the existing ones, have been made better looking. They also run smoother. The world map will also run significantly better on lower end machines. An indicator will show where your teammates are, and also their chats.

I would have missed it anyway.
1. Komaka Islands are coming
After the caves, part 2 of the adventures are about to be released. You will at last venture out of the Edge, to the Komaka archipelago. Introducing new enemies, new situations, a new power into brand new adventures. Your goal this time? Reach the mainland! Also, a new market is available with new hardware to further customize your home!
The Infinite Tower
The Infinite Tower has been on the map long enough and it will soon open its doors to eager adventurers.
On your way, you'll be able to spray cryptic messages on some rocks so the adventurers behind you can benefit from your experience. Also, your life won't matter as much in this dungeon, as you will be granted a certain number of "attempts" which will decrease each time you get hurt or otherwise commit a mistake. Once you're out of attempts, that's it, you get booted out of the tower.
Candy Land
Not only the Komakas are coming, but also the land of Candies. There is still so much to do so this one. it might not be present in the next update. However it should follow shortly and introduce the first 4 players map in the game.
Full controller support
It was ridiculous that the game only supported controllers as an afterthought and didn’t allow for alternative key mappings. This will now be fixed. Note that the game still does not support couch multiplayer : you can play solo, but only by controlling frogs one after the other.
Graphic and performance improvements
UI has been polished. All levels, even the existing ones, have been made better looking. They also run smoother. The world map will also run significantly better on lower end machines. An indicator will show where your teammates are, and also their chats.
Bug fixes
Many, many bugs have been fixed. Levels should run smoother, UI should be less awkward in some places. Hopefully your experience will be much better. As for the networking experience, if you play online, despite doing my best at testing everything beforehand, I can only rely on your feedback and experience to improve the lag and correct bugs. I am the sole developer on this project, so my own testing abilities are limited. Don’t hesitate to use the handy feedback function.
I don't have a precise ETA but I'd say roughly a month from now. I may push the Infinite Tower before the Islands if I finish one before the other. It would be pointless to keep all the goodies away just to publish everything in one time.
Anyway, thank you for your patience and I'll be back soon enough!
