Watch Out For Goblins! changes
Watch Out for Goblins! The Demo! has been out for about two weeks now. Seeing people play the demo we made has been both exciting and terrifying. We’ve been learning a lot, listening to feedback, and thinking about how to incorporate it into the game. In the next few weeks we are taking some time to figure out our plans for the future. We have so many ideas on how to improve and expand our little goblin game. I expect we will have news to share soon. If you want to stay in the loop make sure you “Follow” Watch Out for Goblins! on Steam or on our website: SQYD.studio
One thing we did learn, judging from playtimes, some of you really seem to be having a lot of fun with the demo. For you, here’s a small Halloween themed update as a thank you. We hope you keep following our progress as Watch Out for Goblins! continues to grow.
What’s included in the SPOOKY UPDATE:
A very small, but very spooky new level. Made with set pieces we couldn’t quite fit onto the Skrimble Iles.
Chilling reskins for smashable pots and mud balls.
Three pieces of haunted new goblin garb to collect.
A terrifying grab bag of bug fixes and settings tweeks.
A creepy new goblin song- be careful, it’s an earworm.
BALLOONS!
We hope you have fun with this small update. Please follow along with development and please let us know what you think of the demo. Game design is iterative and we can only improve with your help.
Finally, as always, remember to watch out for goblins wherever you go. I hear there are a lot of them out and about this time of year.
Happy Halloween!
