Watamari Part1 - A Match Made in Heaven changes
Late last night, a promotional video was revealed for the upcoming yuri visual novel, Watamari 2. The video is for the theme song, "Fake Marriage" which is composed by producer, Hiiragi Magnetite with vocals by 9Lana and Eye.
First announced back on October 24, 2025, Watamari Part2 - A Fake Marriage? is the sequel to Watamari Part1 - A Match Made in Heaven which was first released in the West back in 2022. The promotional video features the two main heroines from the series, Hikari and Hime in a whimsical art style drawn by popular Japanese illustrator, Nou.
The catchy music and lyrics are no surprise considering that "Fake Marriage" is composed by Hiiragi Magnetite who is well known for their popular Vocaloid songs. Combined with the vocal talents of 9Lana and Eye, "Fake Marriage" is a distinct departure from the presentation of Watamari Part1 and helps set the tone for what fans can expect in the sequel which is due to be released next year.
