WastePunk has undergone major changes based on feedback from players who posted their thoughts in the community hub.
That said wastepunk is shaping up and is going to be a fairly different experience from the demo.
Changes include:
Start in a town:
Currently you will start in a town(Blackwater) overview where you can manage your equipment and buy ammo. This town will undergo changes in the future, shop upgrades, weapon upgrades & more.
Choose a job in form of a bounty (hunt raiders) and return to earn cash to get better equipment and buy ammo.
Streamlined inventory:
Streamlined simplified inventory. Collect limited items and ammo.
Community feedback major changes:
Fixed rigid jump, movement & melee (complete movement rebuild)
Starting gun and ammo
Disabled survival system for now to find a better solution
Buffed weapon damage
Completely rebuilt weapons (new weapon system for future weapon updates)
Disabled crafting due to low/bad engagement - this will be replaced with weapon upgades
Streamlined looting - loot randomly spawned chests vs looting and scavenging furniture
Other changes such as polished 3rd person camera, new character models & more.
