Warriors United changes
Today marks an important milestone in the evolution of Warriors United. This update brings a major overhaul of the player movement system. And this is only the beginning!
Until now, gameplay was mainly based on basic movement and simple attacks. As a result, the experience could become repetitive fairly quickly.
I’m happy to announce that this is no longer the case.
What’s new
New movements, new possibilities
The combat and movement systems have been completely redesigned to offer more freedom, more fluidity, and most importantly, better gameplay feel:
Sprint Move faster and unlock 2 new attacks tied to this mechanic.
Jump Take to the air and chain into 2 new aerial attacks.
Dodge & Perfect Dodge Avoid enemy attacks with precision. Perfect dodges reward good timing and add a strategic layer to combat.
A new resource: Energy
All these actions now consume an energy resource:
As long as you have energy → you are free to act
No energy → no sprinting, no jumping, no attacking
Combat therefore becomes more strategic: You need to anticipate, manage your resources, and choose the right moment to engage.
Targeting system improvements
The targeting system has also been reworked to be:
More fluid
More intuitive
Better suited to the new pace of the game

This update is the first part of a complete gameplay overhaul. I am currently working on the second part of this rework.
