New Features
Cross-platform multiplayer — Windows, Linux, and macOS players can now play together. The simulation runs on fixed-point math so every machine stays perfectly in sync, no matter the OS or CPU
Replays: matches can now be recorded and played back, with a dedicated replay UI
Max players increased from 8 to 16
World & Exploration
Unit names now appear above units
Reduced interaction radius on all respawn points
Starting or joining a game now zooms in and fades to black
Combat & Balance
Shadow heroes no longer have reduced cast speed
Removed the Astral Hammer skill from the Bonelord boss
Items & Loot
Items now auto-equip when their slot is empty
UI & HUD
HUD scale replaced with a single global UI scale slider in settings
General HUD UI improvements
New settings to toggle player names and enemy names (both on by default)
Currencies in the backpack now show their name on hover
Hover UI now appears above an object instead of to its right
Added a debug tab in settings with dev-focused game info
Improved spacing in scroll views so scroll-to jumps land precisely
Audio
Removed the error sound when disconnecting from a server

Replaced the doodad UI
Added a duplicate doodad button
Added a full set of steampunk decoration doodads
Reed doodads now render through the main rendering pipeline
Mod sound data loads faster

Improved UI repaint performance
Improved physics performance
Game loading is now chunked by file type with more granular loading steps

Fixed a big lag spike the first time music loaded in
Fixed projectile pierce only working for fast projectiles
Fixed Spellsteal not working
Fixed Fire Mage's Spark and Wide Flame modifiers not working with homing projectiles
Fixed the level cap (100) not working
Fixed player movement and camera jitter
Fixed enemies getting stuck and refusing to follow when you roll on a slope mid-chase
Fixed enemies resetting their run animation when their target moves
Fixed enemy health bars appearing at the wrong position for one frame
Fixed not being able to see already-running room timers when entering a room
Fixed selling items in the shop sometimes breaking
Fixed tooltip value rounding for the basic attack skill and modifier cooldowns
Fixed static, non-moving clouds in the Castle biome
Fixed the world map only auto-centering correctly at a 16:9 aspect ratio
Fixed music getting drowned out when lots of SFX play at once
Fixed hearing every enemy spawn at once when entering a room
Fixed an audio source occasionally getting stuck instead of returning to the pool
Fixed a native crash on Mac
Fixed Windows still showing the old cursor icon
Fixed your spawn flashing at its default position for one frame when a multiplayer game starts
Fixed an error message appearing when a client clicks disconnect
Fixed the host being unable to hover other players to see their health bar and name
Fixed the host not seeing other players on the minimap
