Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Classic Returns

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate is now available on Steam for the first time. This squad-based strategy game is fondly remembered for its tactical depth and challenging yet fair gameplay.

This re-release is a faithful version of the original game from 1998, with fixes and improvements necessary to ensure it runs smoothly on modern systems.

• Compatibility with Windows 10/11

• cnc-ddraw is used as the wrapper

• Fixed several crash instances

• Fixed compatibility issues

• The game now runs in borderless fullscreen mode to ensure better stability and Alt+Tab experience

• Stability fixes and improvements were also applied to the Scenario Editor

• Added 1280x720 and 1920x1080 combat resolution modes

• Added 16:9 HUD support for the new resolutions

• Setting the in-game sliders for music/sound to lowest doesn’t completely disable audio
