It’s every Warhammer fan’s favourite time of the year! The Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2026 took place today and we announced some exciting news for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2!

Heed the call of battle and play our brand-new Steam-exclusive demo for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2!
Warhammer 40000 Boltgun 2 Lock in as either Malum Caedo or Nyra Veyrath and experience two of the new levels from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 ahead of its launch later this year.
Face the untamed wilds of a Death World and explore an overgrown mangrove swamp swarmed with deranged Nurgle daemons and cultists. But enemy forces aren’t the only dangers you’ll need to watch out for in this level...
In our second level, embark through a frozen battlefield and visit an icy Imperial facility overrun with the forces of Chaos. There you’ll battle the new Khorne enemies - if you dare to break the ice!
Between two playable characters, multiple difficulties, and several secrets to discover, we hope you enjoy the demo for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and look forward to hearing your feedback!

But it’s easy to miss the updates, so here is everything we’ve announced so for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2:

Two Playable Characters
In Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, you will have the option to play as formidable Sternguard Veteran, Malum Caedo, or swift and nimble Sister of Battle, Nyra Veyrath.
At the beginning of the game, you’ll choose one character to play for the entire campaign. Both characters have their own unique weapons and abilities creating a vastly different gameplay experience, depending on who you play as.
Your choice will also determine whether you have Rahul Kohli or Alanah Pearce hurling insults at the heretics while enacting the Emperor’s punishment.
The Forces of Slaanesh
The Dark Prince's corruption knows no bounds, and his legions of excess march into Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, spreading fear and misery with jovial glee!
Daemonettes, Noise Marines, and Tormentors will clash with our champions on the battlefield!
The Legions of Khorne
The Blood God’s devotees also join the fray to enact the bloody will of Khorne!
Aggressive and brutal daemons will tear through the carnage with a mixture of Bloodletters, Juggernauts, Bloodcrushers, and even more...
All Four Chaos Factions
With the introduction of the forces of Slaanesh and legions of Khorne, all four Chaos factions will be coming together in Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2!
But Malum Caedo and Nyra Veyrath will need to overcome more than the foul forces of Chaos to complete their mission...
New Demo for Warhammer Survivors
In case you didn’t know, we’re also developing another Warhammer game called Warhammer Survivors!
Developed in partnership with poncle and Warhammer, it’s time to battle for survival in the universes of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar in all their pixelated magnificence!
