2026 Development Update – Multiplayer First Look
Everything shown here is pre-alpha gameplay. Features, visuals, performance, and systems are still actively being worked on.
The December 2025 update 0.9.1 for Patreon testers introduced multiplayer, alongside major improvements to the player controller and hundreds of bug fixes and optimizations across the entire game.
This update focused heavily on:
Stability
Performance
Fixing long-standing issues
Laying the groundwork for consistent and more frequent updates as we move toward Steam Early Access
Below is a condensed changelog so you can still see what’s actually included in this build.
A Quick Word on 2025 Development Silence
2025 was a major year both personally and for the game and I want to briefly explain the slower development pace before diving deeper into the update.
In January 2025, I began the FDNY Fire Academy, a 5-month (18-week) program requiring full-time commitment, Monday through Friday. The academy involved:
Early mornings
Intense physical training
Constant mental pressure
Non-stop studying
This was my last opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a New York City firefighter, and I wasn’t going to let a once in a lifetime chance slip away.
During this time, it simply wasn’t possible to give the game and the community the attention they deserved. I know some wondered if the project had been abandoned but I want to be clear:
The project was never dead.
Now that I’ve graduated and settled into my new career, I’ve been fully back in active development since June, and this update represents that return.
Major Progress in This Update
You’ll see significant improvements and additions across nearly every core system, including:
