War of Rights changes
Hello everyone,
Today, we are pleased to bring you the preparation update for the annual 1776 event - this year, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! The event is scheduled to begin today at 3 PM EDT/9PM CEST and will continue to July 6th.
We cannot wait to join you all in just a few short hours to, once again, partake in massive 400-player Revolutionary War battles, now featuring even more playable units and weapons.
Below is what today’s preparation update includes for the base (non-event) game!
Patch Notes

Recreated the M1855 Springfield using 3D scans of originals.
Recreated the M1861 Springfield, using 3D scans of originals.
Added a Springfield Bayonet model, using 3D scans of originals.
Updated the cartridge models in the game, using 3D scans of replicas. The game now features visually distinct loads for buck and ball, round ball and Minié ball.
War of Rights has been updated to support Nvidia DLSS 4.5, resulting in even better visuals.
Removed the static character model mistakenly left behind on South Mountain.
Slightly tweaked the voicechat attenuation over distance and made it a little bit more muffled when suppressed.
Made a headshot on the local player mute all other sounds for 5 seconds and have them fade back in over 5 seconds.
Fixed an issue causing players to scoot along the terrain at odd camera angles after having fired a cannon.
Added the 5th New Hampshire Infantry regiment to the Drill Camp roster for future use in a skirmish area.
Added the 49th Virginia Infantry regiment to the Drill Camp roster for future use in a skirmish area.

Added 13th North Carolina regimental flag.
Added 4th Texas national flag.
Added 5th New Hampshire national and regimental flags (with special thanks to the Fifth NH Volunteers, Co. A for research assistance).
Added 49th Virginia national flag.
Improved the flag bearer spawning setup at Harpers Ferry to avoid some of the spawned-in players getting stuck.
Fixed Henry Rohrback farm collision mesh.
Added 2 sound reverb effects: one for being in town and one for being inside buildings.
Added our old Dixie music track to Credits in the menu.
Tweaked the right shoulder shift animation to avoid some of the clipping.
Optimized physics simulation when players are positioned in dense clusters.
Character rendering now supports instancing on characters with simulated cloth attachments. Internal benchmark tests suggest up to a 15% game performance increase, depending on your hardware configuration.
