This update decouples the map from your screen: pick how big a war you want, and the view scales to fit any display.

New: Map Size setting

  • Choose from four map sizes in Settings → Map Size: Small (48×27), Medium (64×36), Large (96×54), or Huge (128×72 tiles)

  • Bigger maps mean more countries to conquer — country count and territory sizes now scale with map area

  • Changing map size starts a fresh map immediately

Display improvements

  • Resolution and fullscreen changes now apply instantly — no more "restart the game" dialog

  • Map size no longer depends on your resolution: the entire map is always visible and scales to fit your window, with letterboxing for mismatched aspect ratios

  • Crisp rendering at every resolution — territories, borders, unit counts, and menus draw sharp at your native resolution instead of being stretched

  • Army movement speed is now consistent across all resolutions

Fixes & tweaks

  • Borders scale with the view so large maps stay readable in small windows

  • Updated tutorial to reflect the new view behavior

  • Fixed an issue where new installs could start with the tutorial already marked completed
