Walrus Run changes
Save the date! The release date for Walrus Run has finally been revealed!
It is my pleasure to announce that Walrus Run will release on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, at 12 AM EDT!
And with that, we have a new trailer! Featuring updated graphics, cutscene footage, new music, and the release date revealed at the end!
But of course, that's not everything. Walrus Run will have a playable demo available at Supernova 2024!
Supernova, formally known as Super Smash Con, is a large-scale tournament/convention for the Super Smash Bros. and general Nintendo community. Walrus Run has been selected to showcase a demo at Supernova's Indie Game Booth!
Supernova will be located in Chantilly, Virginia, USA, at the Dulles Expo Center, from August 8th to 11th. Visit supersmashcon.com for more details! I can't wait to see you all there!
Walrus Run will also have a demo at SAGE 2024! SAGE stands for Sonic Amateur Games Expo, and is an online event where game developers can showcase their full games or demos, whether they're fan-games or indie games. Walrus Run's first online, publicly available demo will be at SAGE 2024! Starting September 6th, you can visit sonicfangameshq.com to download Walrus Run's demo.
NOTE: Walrus Run's SAGE page is not currently visible. It will become public when the event starts on September 6th. We will notify the community when it happens!
The final announcement is that Walrus Run will be participating in October's Steam Next Fest! Starting October 14th, you can play Walrus Run's demo right off of Steam. At that point we'll only have about a month until launch day!
I wanna thank everyone for their continued support, as I grind away the next 4 months getting this game done. I can't wait for everyone to experience the finished product!
