removedQuality of LifeTaking into account all your feedback, we made a huge overhaul of the building system. We removed the need to click multiple times in order to build or upgrade a tower. It now requires only a maximum of two clicks where you had to click MANY times before.
changedQuality of LifeWe also hid the "Sell" button under a Modify sub-menu to avoid clicking and selling your buildings by mistake while playing.
addedAccessibilityWe offer two new accessibility features in the option menu:
changedAccessibilityThe first accessibility feature allows you to simulate a click by pressing a key on your keyboard, and the second simulate repetitive clicks by holding your mouse button down.
changedAccessibilityUnfortunately due to a Godot 3.6.x magic incomprehensible behaviour, these two accessibility options only work properly with 1920*1080 resolution. We will still investigate a potential fix for that but we already wanted to offer you the options. In the meantime, the game will auto resize to the correct resolution if you activate the accessibility features.

Rise & Shine Baristas,

We wish you a very blobby 2026 and bring you many presents in our brand new free update of Wake Cup!

Quality of Life

Taking into account all your feedback, we made a huge overhaul of the building system. We removed the need to click multiple times in order to build or upgrade a tower. It now requires only a maximum of two clicks where you had to click MANY times before.

We also hid the "Sell" button under a Modify sub-menu to avoid clicking and selling your buildings by mistake while playing.

Accessibility

We offer two new accessibility features in the option menu:

The first accessibility feature allows you to simulate a click by pressing a key on your keyboard, and the second simulate repetitive clicks by holding your mouse button down.

Unfortunately due to a Godot 3.6.x magic incomprehensible behaviour, these two accessibility options only work properly with 1920*1080 resolution. We will still investigate a potential fix for that but we already wanted to offer you the options. In the meantime, the game will auto resize to the correct resolution if you activate the accessibility features.

Many, many Bug Fixes

Have you seen any bugs since the release? If yes, and if we know about them, Poof, they are gone. If you find any others, let us know so we can keep on endlessly hunting them down.

6 New Blobs

Some of our amazing community members won custom Blobistas and they are finally included in the game. Look at those cuties! They are now hatch-able in eggs across various levels.

Which one is your favourite?

Improved maps and better graphics

We went back to a few of the levels that were a bit lacking in the style department, our team of super duper designers (aka Bu) opened Godot and gave them a glow-up.

Cruise Landing Before

Cruise Landing After

Improved Blobdex and new Zombdex

We gave a new shine of polish to the Blobdex, this interface was added very late in the development cycle of Wake Cup and was in a dire need of an update.

In addition, we also created a brand new Zombdex where you can find information about all the Zombeans you encounter in the game.

New Translations

We have new community translations available, some of them are still a work in progress and will be cleaned up soon. You can now play the game in English, French, Dutch, German and Japanese (plus a bonus; very drafty Persian/Farsi)

What's next?

We reached the end of our to-do list for Wake Cup. Beside some probable future bug-fixes and occasional seasonal content, we will move on to our next project for the foreseeable future.

If you still don't have Wake Cup in your library, and are still reading so far into the update, what are you waiting for? It's just one click away and it's on sale for 1 week!
