Bug Fixes
First and foremost, thank you, players, for helping make this game better with your feedback! This wouldn't be possible without you.
Fixed a glitch in level 1, Ewharia, where if the player fell off the first bridge in the level, they could likely fall into a hole they were unable to get out of.
Fixed a glitch in the Graphics and Camera menus where, if going back to a previous menu and a message was appearing on the screen specifically related to one of these two menus, that message would still be appearing on the screen even after the specified menu was closed.
Fixed a glitch in the Pause Options Menu where, if the player pressed the back button in a menu ahead of it, the input was registered twice, causing the Pause Options Menu to be skipped altogether.
Updates
On the compass, the Vribyss Starfish and refugees are now represented by a yellow arrow instead of a blue arrow. This was done to make it clearer that the blue light is Hadar's guide light and not a Vribyss Starfish.
Based on player feedback, Aliza's Tips was updated so that, depending on what level the player is in, the most relevant tips are displayed.
Based on player feedback, the general game was updated so that a reminder appears once during gameplay in any level to let players know how they can view Aliza's Tips if they need help. While appearing on screen, this reminder can also be permanently disabled if the player doesn't want to see it anymore.
Based on player feedback, another Hadar blue guidelight was added to level 2, Athington. This additional blue guide light is necessary so players will know ALL key areas in Athington.
Increased the amount of time Andel's health bar appears on-screen if the player collects an "accelerator" (powerup). This makes it easier for players to see how much Andel's health has increased.
Based on player feedback, the initial tutorial with Aliza at the beginning of the game has been shortened.
Updated the Map/Compass button so that it now only toggles the level map, and the compass is always on the screen. This was updated because some players would accidentally press the Map/Compass button, and it would toggle "Off" the compass (expected behavior). If the compass was toggled off by mistake, however, it made it seem as though the compass wasn't appearing/working at all. All three controller mapping menus were also updated to reflect this change.
