Introducing VRChat Plus

VRChat is grateful to have an extremely supportive community, ready and willing to join us as we develop the leading social VR platform in the world.

Often, we’ve been asked: “Hey, how can I help you? How can I support VRChat?”, where the answer has been “Enjoy VRChat with your friends, and tell others about it!”

Today, we want to introduce a new way for you to support us — VRChat Plus.

For US$9.99 a month or US$99.99 a year, you’ll get:

• Custom User Icons — We’ve got brand-new nameplates that everyone gets. With VRChat Plus, you can customize your nameplate with an icon you create! Take a picture in VRChat, or upload your own on the VRChat website. Save up to 64 icons to swap on the fly.

• 100 Favorite Avatar Slots — Save an avatar for every situation with this massive amount of favorite slots, split out into 4 rows. Collect and organize! Everyone gets upgraded to 25 favorite avatars.

• Supporter Badge — Show off your status as a VRChat+ Supporter with a badge on your profile.

• Early Supporter Badge — Get in on VRChat+ early, and your badge will permanently upgrade to an “Early Supporter” version. Time to flex!

• Increased Trust — You’re supporting us, so we’ll support you. Enjoy a little boost to your Trust level.

  Stickers and Sharing are now here - along with Chatbox 2.0, camera updates, and many other assorted fixes!

  Stickers are an exclusive VRChat+ feature! Users with VRChat+ can now place stickers in any world. You can upload stickers using the VRChat website, or by taking a picture and selecting it as a sticker in the VRChat client.

  - Place stickers by using the option in your Action Menu! - You can have 9 stickers active at any given time (as in, stickers usable in your Action Menu). - You can place one sticker in the world at a time. - Stickers are only available in worlds that have them enabled -- although the feature is enabled by default. - You can click on a sticker to disable it (using the Quick Menu), if you see one you don't like. - You can also choose to report a sticker if they're offensive or otherwise break our ToS.

  In addition to Stickers, Sharing has also been added for VRChat+! With sharing, you can easily share (surprise!) stickers, emoji, photos, and UI color palettes to other users. You can do this either by directly sharing them via the Main Menu, or you can choose to drop a pedestal that will enable you to easily share stuff with folks in your world!

As always, the core experience of playing VRChat remains free. The VRChat+ subscription is a way for you to show your support to VRChat, and get some cool bonuses as our way of saying thanks.

VRChat Plus is our first step towards our long-term goals for monetization. We want to allow people who create content — be it worlds, avatars, performances, games, hangouts, experiences, whatever — to be able to support themselves. VRChat is a place where creativity is unbounded. If people who like your work want to support you, we want to help them help you. We’re still working on all this, but we’ll keep you in the know as we move forward.
