Your favorite character becomes your heroine

Thank you for playing "VR-Kanojo"! We're excited to introduce a new feature that lets you load your favorite VRM model and play the game with that character as the heroine. Just drop a VRM file into the designated folder, and you can enjoy the same experience you'd have with Sakura — now with your very own favorite character.

What you can do with this feature

Set a VRM model you own (such as those created and distributed via VRoid) as your heroine, and enjoy the same situations and closeness as always — with a heroine that's all your own.

Important: This is provided as a "game version" separate from the standard one

Because this feature makes major changes to the game's internal structure, for safety it is provided as a dedicated game version kept separate from the standard one. It does not affect your saves or play on the standard version. To play it, you'll need to switch to this version (it takes a little extra step).

How to switch

  1. Right-click "VR-Kanojo" in your Library ＞ "Properties"

  2. Open "Betas" (game versions and betas) in the left menu

  3. From the "Selected game version" list, choose "VRM Edition"

Things to know before you play

  • Not all VRM models will work correctly. Non-humanoid avatars in particular may behave unexpectedly.

  • Some small props appear at positions based on the original model, so depending on the model you load, they may float in mid-air or display incorrectly.

Please use any model you load in accordance with that model's terms of use and license.
