The Messier object was created by the 18th century French astronomer Charles Messier. The 110 celestial bodies listed in the "Catagory of Nebulae and Star Clusters". Messier is a comet searcher. He integrated this catalog of celestial bodies to record the comet-like celestial bodies, so that people will not be confused by these celestial bodies when looking for real comets.
