Lolis Birthday Recruitment
Secretly telling all Players, the 14th of the month after next — that is, August 14th — is Lolis's birthday. Having experienced the last two Lolis birthday events, the development team is giving Players and fan creators more time this time to plan and produce birthday works. (Well, it's just about one week earlier than before.) Lolis emphasizes: The production team must thoroughly implement the major decisions and plans for Lolis's birthday event. We must coordinate and advance the DLC process, and make even greater contributions to the high-quality development of VPet Simulator.
We are now accepting fan creations related to VPet Simulator:
- Works in any form can be submitted to the recruitment event for review.
- Fan creation works that pass the review can receive merchandise / cash / Points rewards.
- Works that do not pass the review can still be published on your own; those that pass can also be released as standalone Lolis Birthday Festival pieces after the birthday event concludes.
- Work requirements: Interesting and high-quality is all you need; please include as much original content as possible. Do not include inappropriate content.
Do not use content that is clearly AI-generated.
The submission period for the birthday festival is from now until August 12th.
Submission address: Email: service@exlb.net
Please remember to include your work’s title, creator name, and Bilibili or other contact information.
Participation Rewards
Works that pass the review will receive the following rewards (Free shipping not available for regions outside Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Xinjiang, and Tibet) (Some images are renderings; please refer to the actual product) "Look Here" Fan
"After-school Time" Transfer Sticker (can be water-applied to smooth items like mugs)
"Leisure Nap" Sitting Pose Standee (can be placed on a computer screen)
"Lolis Watching You" Boxed Acrylic
Contribution Points 60000
If it is inconvenient to receive the physical rewards, they can be converted into $ 6 USD , DLC keys of equivalent value (e.g., Travel VPet, etc. — it's in the works), or an artist's signed illustration (digital version).
Outstanding Work Rewards
Considering that the number of works actually exceeded 30 last time, let’s prepare a bit more this time.
The Top 10 voted works will additionally receive the following items:
"Give You a Punch" Lenticular Card
"Waiting to Go Home" Sitting Pose Standee (can be placed on a computer screen)
"Posture Correction Lolis" Lenticular Card
The Top 5 voted works will additionally receive the following items:
"Waiting Impatiently" Boxed Acrylic DIY 3D Felt Craft
Artist's Signed Illustration
The Top 3 voted works will additionally receive the following items:
"Lolis Swinging on a Swing" Lenticular Card
"Wrap Up Lolis" Pillowcase, Canvas, 45cm (pillow not included)
The 1st Place voted work will additionally receive the following item:
Lolis Side-lit Keycap
Participation Award (for works that did not pass review)
Contribution Points 15000
Note
The illustrations used on these gifts will all be released after the event (in a photo gallery). Please do not resell them or purchase them from others. If you like them, you can also print and customize them yourself. We ordered them online ourselves.
Note 2
Contribution Points (obtained by publishing MODs on the Steam Workshop) can be exchanged for these merchandise and games/DLCs, etc.
Note 3
The Workshop Points from last year and the year before are essentially Contribution Points.
Note 4
Regarding official merchandise sales, my current thought is to start crowdfunding/selling merchandise after the first paid DLC is released. If you can't wait, you can also use the photo gallery to get custom items from local manufacturers (especially for those outside Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Xinjiang, and Tibet). (Note: The photo gallery is prohibited for commercial use.)
Better Buy: Contribution Exchange
Contribution Points can now be used to exchange for gifts, DLCs, and other items. This is a reward exchange store for players who have contributed to the game, for example: submitting code / discovering bugs / creating MODs, etc. Please do not trade or resell Points and merchandise.
This service is purely a labor of love, and may be modified or become unavailable in the future. Please understand.

Please don't hesitate to send me an email. Contribution Points are meant to reward players who have contributed to the game. I'm a bit lazy and won't actively send emails myself (lol)
News about DLC
it's being worked on. No matter what, DLC will definitely be released this year. After all, we've been operating at a loss for 3 years. If we continue to lose money, I’ll have a hard time explaining it to the investors (my parents) (lol) There are 3 DLCs currently in production:
Travel VPet
83 travel photos have been drawn. The accompanying cabin/furniture system will likely be cut first and added back later.
Otaku girl L2D
All standing illustrations have been completed. Common animations have been modeled. It will likely be released as a semi-finished product first, with animations perfected later.
ChatVPet
To be honest, I feel it's not as good as what’s on the Workshop. Its only advantage is being able to provide talking animations with different emotions. I'll take another look later; if it really doesn't work out, I might make it into a supplementary DLC, allowing Workshop MODs to call upon these animations as a selling point.
Thank you for your support, Players! See you at the anniversary celebration!
