Hi everyone,

This is the first devlog for Volcano Watch. Whether you've just stumbled onto the page or you've been following from the start, it's good to have you here.

The vision

You're a field scientist dropped on a remote volcanic island. Your job is to read what the volcano is doing, by hand, by instrument, by intuition, and stay one step ahead of what it's about to do.

Volcano Watch is a first-person survival-craft game rooted in real volcanic geology. You explore the terrain on foot, deploy a network of seismic and gas sensors, craft your tools and shelter, analyze samples in your lab, and learn to read the signs that come before an eruption.

Where we are now

The 3D world is in place and the core systems are running end to end. Sensors, energy networks, crafting, farming, eruptions, lava simulation all work together. The visual identity and polish are still being shaped. You're seeing the game in an early form, and a lot will evolve in the months ahead.

What's next

More to come in the months ahead as the world, the visuals, and the gameplay come together toward release.

If the premise speaks to you, wishlist Volcano Watch. Wishlists are how Steam decides to show the game to other curious players, and every single one counts, especially this early.

Thanks for being here.
