VOID81: The Backrooms changes
The v0.0.6 update introduces numerous improvements to the interface, gameplay and levels, as well as various general optimisations.
UI update
New interface for the Settings menu
New graphic options added:
- Option to disable camera view.
- Option to disable vignetting.
- Adjusting the brightness of the game.
- Setting the POV.
Added a setting for mouse sensitivity.
New command table added.
New graphic style for pause menu buttons.
Exit button now available on every level
Improvement of the introduction to levels
Fixed the UI dialogue with typewriter effect, making it easier for the player to follow the text in real time.
New addition
Added a new UI at game start for language selection.
Level 1 Improvements
The two military vehicles were removed and replaced with two regular vehicles with new emission effects.
Update platforms with a new shape and floating effect.
Lowered the tunnel roof.
Bug fix – Level 4
Inserted the cursor during interaction with the portal for entering the PIN.
Added an alternative method to confirm the PIN using the ENTER key, in addition to the dedicated button.
Level 5 Improvement
Added a checkpoint after the illuminated spheres section.
Level 6 Improvement
Added new visual indicators to help the player find the exit
