Repeated intro

Hey everyone! I guess you saw yesterday's trailer, I’m very excited to announce that VoiceATCSimulator v0.6, a major milestone in the development of the project, will go public in the development branch on March 21st.

What changed

0 fixes0 additions3 changes1 removal
  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
removedThe main feature is Navigraph integration , which effectively unlocks the entire world for controlling . From now on, you are no longer limited to predefined areas — you can control anywhere. It’s important to clarify that a Navigraph subscription is not required to use this feature. If you don’t have a subscription, you will simply operate on an older AIRAC cycle. The simulator remains fully functional either way.
changedAnother big step forward is the introduction of realistic traffic generation . Traffic now follows realistic routes generated through a dedicated route generation algorithm, and aircraft spawning behavior is designed to be much closer to real-world operations.
changedThis version also brings substantial UI changes . Panels have been restructured and reorganized to provide a cleaner layout and a more realistic feel. The goal was not just to improve aesthetics, but to make the experience closer to what controlling actually feels like.
changedFinally, modding has been completely reworked . Since procedures are now already included in the simulator, modding shifts away from procedure creation and toward defining where you control — meaning sectorization and customization at the moment. This opens the door to much more in the future.

There will be more info in the modding channel as release is closer. I will be releasing first in the development branch — check the FAQ for information on how to switch — as the amount of changes is huge and thus there might be instability. This update represents a big step toward the long-term vision of VoiceATCSimulator, I really hope you enjoy it!
