Voice of Flowers changes
In case you've missed it, the demo has recently received a minor update. Apart from the general game development, changes that you can experience in the Demo include:
Changelog for 0.2.7:
Improved stomping feedback.
Stomping mechanic got a few tweaks and should be easier to execute.
It is possible to kill the momentum on jumping, increasing Hana's control.
Added a new item to find in the Haunted Manor.
Improvements to Rose Charger visuals.
Fixed various bugs.
The stomping change was done based on feedback and it's meant to make it easier to jump on enemies and chain combos. We plan to iterate on it further, so be sure to give us your thoughts.
Progress Towards the New Demo
As mentioned in the last news, the Final Demo is at the polishing phase. It's the usual last 10% that takes 90% of the time, hence it takes a while.
A large part of the content that is already finished, here's a small sneak peek of what's to come.
Hana's home
The place where your adventure begins. Here you will get the game's introductory quest and, due to certain events, meet one of the major antagonists.
The home also houses one of the game's most important features 🐈
Lakeville
A small settlement near Hana's home. Here you will find the game's first NPCs, a shop and a couple secrets.
Caves
If, instead of going to Lakeville, you take a detour and go further to the east, you will end up in a vast system of underground caves. What secrets lie in the depths?
Beyond
There will be even more to see. More is going to be revealed at a later date.
