Voice of Belldona Will Launch in Early Access on May 20
Hello everyone,
First of all, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has been following StoryCrop and supporting Voice of Belldona from the very beginning.
It has been a long journey for our team, and your patience, encouragement, and excitement have meant a lot to us throughout development. We know many players have been waiting for Voice of Belldona for the last 3 years and we truly want you to be able to step into the world of Belldona as soon as possible.
After carefully reviewing our launch plan, we have decided that Voice of Belldona will launch in Early Access on May 20.
The current version of the game already offers a complete and highly replayable roguelike deckbuilding experience, with deep card strategies, blessings, allies, story events, enemies, and multiple ways to shape each run. Rather than delaying the game again, we believe Early Access is the best way to respect the players who have been waiting, while also giving us the opportunity to build toward an even stronger Full Release together with the community. At the same time, we also have a clear plan to continue expanding the game’s content, improving balance, and polishing the overall experience after launch. Over the next 6 months after Early Access, we plan to keep improving Voice of Belldona through new systems, additional content, balance updates, story expansion, and localization polish. Our goal is to make the Full Release feel even more complete, premium, and memorable for everyone.
What to Expect in Early Access
The Early Access version includes the main playable foundation of Voice of Belldona, designed for complete runs, repeated playthroughs, and meaningful build experimentation.
Players can expect:
Massive deck with deep strategy: Build powerful strategies from a pool of 120+ cards, allowing for many different playstyles and run combinations.
Training & Legendary Blessings: Customize each run with permanent upgrades and powerful one-time blessings that shape your stats and combat approach.
High build variety: Discover 50+ unique blessings that unlock deeper synergies and make every run feel different.
Summon unique allies: Recruit distinct units with specialized combat roles, adding strategic positioning and team-based decisions to combat.
Expansive world & enemies: Explore multiple areas filled with challenging enemies, hidden stories, and evolving threats.
Narrative-driven events: Encounter 40+ story events that add unpredictability, worldbuilding, and emotional weight to each run.
With these systems in place, Voice of Belldona already offers a rich roguelike deckbuilding experience for players who enjoy experimenting with builds, discovering synergies, and improving across multiple runs.
Early Access allows us to keep building on this foundation with the community: adding more content, refining balance, listening to real player strategies, and shaping the Full Release into a smoother, bigger, and more rewarding version of the game.
Roadmap Toward Full Release
After the Early Access launch on May 20, our current plan is to bring Voice of Belldona to Full Release within approximately 6 months.
We believe this gives us a focused and practical Early Access period: enough time to expand the game with meaningful new content, improve balance, polish the overall experience, and respond properly to player feedback, while still giving the community a clear path toward the full version.
If development goes smoothly and the game is ready earlier, we may move to Full Release ahead of schedule. For now, we want to set a reliable timeline that gives the team enough room to deliver each update carefully, without rushing important content, balance, localization,
