VITAL Major Update!

This patch contains major changes to VITAL. The biggest changes are the game's graphical. Colors are now more vibrant and the vegetation has become more detailed.

This patch contains major changes to VITAL. The biggest changes are the game's graphical. Colors are now more vibrant and the vegetation has become more detailed. There has also been some QoL updates, in the list below I will present the most prominent changes and fixes.

Added

  • Controller support

  • Updated graphics

  • Better vegetation (New and more trees)

Changes

  • The player now has decreased acceleration, meaning that precision movement is now easier.

  • The player can now jump 30 units higher, this should make some platforming easier and jump on cubes easier as well

  • Higher cube mass and less angular physics, this should help with some precision placement

  • The cube is now positioned in the center and transparent to make it easier for precision placement

  • The cube will now also reflect lasers while the player is holding the cube, this should also make precision aiming easier

  • Removed annoying end part from level 13

Optimizations

  • Translucent materials have been overhauled and should be less taxing on low end GPUs
