The Forgotten 1995 Arcade Has Arrived!
The vaults have been opened. Originally developed by Zeus Software and released in European arcades by Gaelco in 1995, Biomechanical Toy is officially live on Steam! If you are a fan of 90s side-scrolling run-and-gun history, this is a rare cult gem you cannot miss. Released a year before the first Metal Slug hit arcade floors in 1996, Biomechanical Toy shares that exact same explosive, chaotic rhythm, frame-heavy caricatured pixel art animations, and unique ally-rescue combat mechanics. It is, quite literally, the "lost cousin" of the genre.
Ponytail, Sunglasses, and Pure 90s Attitude
You play as Inguz, a tough action hero sporting serious Steven Seagal energy. The criminal mastermind Scrubby has broken out of prison and stolen the Magic Pendulum, the sovereign artifact that animates the entire toy kingdom. Armed with upgradeable automatic fire and screen-clearing bombs, you must blast your way through 6 surreal worlds and free caged toy allies to lay waste to Scrubby's mechanical army.
