“VF5 R.E.V.O. World Stage” Producer Letter #13

Hi everyone! This is Seiji Aoki, producer of the Legacy Virtua Fighter Project.

I hope you all had a great time participating in the recent Nintendo Switch 2 Open Beta Test. Hearing your impressions is always incredibly valuable for the team, so if you have any feedback, please feel free to share it on the official Discord. I’m so proud that VF is upon another milestone with the 1st ever release on a Nintendo platform! We’re excited to welcome more players and see the world of Virtua Fighter continue to grow with the official Switch 2 launch on March 26.

We also recently streamed the VIRTUA FIGHTER Open Championship Global Finals – Bracket Draw, which many of you tuned in to. Every matchup promises high-level battles, and I believe the show helped build even more excitement for what’s- to come at the VF Global Finals on March 1. We’re thrilled to bring players and fans together for this ultimate showdown.

Please note that seating inside the main hall requires advance registration. However, we’ll also have a variety of activities outside the hall including merch sales, demo stations, mini tournaments, food and drinks, and more. Even without advance registration, you can enjoy these activities at the venue, and we’d love to see you there.

For those who can’t attend in person, we’ll be streaming the event live worldwide in both Japanese and English. We hope you’ll tune in and experience the excitement together with us.
