Virgo Versus The Zodiac changes
Happy Lunar New Year!
I'd like to talk about a project that we plan to work on after Keylocker is complete! That is Dragon Versus The Zodiac, exploring the world of the Chinese Zodiac, that we're announcing today in homage to the year of the dragon!
Dragon Versus The Zodiac initially follows the Rat and Cat (an ostracized figure of the Chinese Zodiac). Both are mortal enemies united only to free the Dragon who has been sealed for more than 100 years on the Tree of Fates in the realm of Bunny, to save her from the devious bunnies.
The Protagonist is Dragon, and Bunny is the first antagonist of the game. You will also see the Rooster, Tiger, Pig, Horse and Snake’s realms. This game is programmed as a side project we will work together with our next mainline games, so it will be smaller than the others, but it will probably still be packed with content if you know us.
The gameplay and art style are similar to Virgo Versus The Zodiac and we plan to develop this game on the same engine as VvtZ, with some improvements from the Keylocker engine. In this game you unlock a Dragon Turn where your party will 'transform' into its Zodiac animal form.
Although there’s nothing much to show and we’re not really developing this game atm, I wanted to share our plans for the future and our excitement about exploring the Chinese Zodiac lore. You will hear here first when we have a steam page and an actual game to show!
