Repeated intro
Hello, everyone. It’s our first Dev Log update since the recent Alpha Test. Over the past few months, our development team has been carefully reviewing all the thoughtful feedback and survey results shared by players. We've been working on improvements in various areas, including combat experience and quality-of-life features. In particular, for the optimization concerns raised by many of you, developers across different teams have come together to form a dedicated task force. This team has been discussing, testing, and exploring multiple solutions to deliver a more stable gameplay experience. We sincerely thank all the players who took the time to share their valuable input. Alongside these improvements, we’re also preparing new content, including a new character in development, going beyond the four available in the last test. More updates and Dev Logs will continue to be posted on our official channels (X, Discord, and Website), so we hope you’ll stay tuned and continue showing your support. With that, let’s begin this month’s Dev Log with a character we briefly teased before: Arisha. 1. Arisha – Character Under Development Steam post imageSteam post image

addedHoping to connect with our players in a more direct and meaningful way, we’re planning to host our very first AMA (Ask Me Anything) on the official Vindictus: Defying Fate Discord. Key developers and community managers will be joining the session to answer your questions and hear your thoughts. We hope this AMA will be a meaningful opportunity to connect and spend time with you. (though we’ll admit, we’re a little nervous too!) The AMA is planned for sometime in November. We’ll announce the exact schedule and details on how to participate soon. In the meantime, we encourage you to join our official Discord so you won’t miss any updates. That wraps up our October Dev Log. We’ll see you again soon, at the AMA! Thank you, always. – Vindictus: Defying Fate Dev Team *All system names are temporary and subject to change.

Arisha is a magic swordsman who commands the power of 'Mana'. In VDF, 'mana' is a mystical resource used to channel supernatural energy, and Arisha uses 'mana' to enhance her blade in combat. To showcase Arisha’s distinct combat style, unlike anything you’ve seen from Lann, Fiona, Karok, or Delia, we’re currently refining and testing every aspect of her design, from appearance to combat feel. Since development is still ongoing, there are too many variables for us to commit to a specific release schedule or order. We’ll continue doing our best to present her in the most polished form possible. 2. AMA Coming in November 2025
