Repeated intro
Hey, guys! So happy to be sharing the first VINDICTA update since its Early Access Launch! This update includes a host of new content, bug fixes and some fine-tuning in between! It also includes a drop in price to $14.99. When we initially priced VINDICTA at Early Access, we did so with the final full version in mind which included an Oculus version, more levels, multiplayer, co-op, more weapons, enemies, puzzles and more polish among other things. We wanted to launch it in Early Access so that we may build it alongside the VR community – however, that kind of accessibility proved to be a challenge at the price point we had set. After some back and forth with the team and many of you early VINDICTA supporters, we have decided to drop the price for now. VINDICTA will go into full release once it has lived up to both players’ expectations and ours, at which point we will re-evaluate the price to reflect the full VINDICTA launch. We cannot thank you enough for all the support you have shown VINDICTA so far and cannot wait to hear what you think of our latest update! Fine-tuned the aiming and recoil of the Uzi, M4 and Kriss
Fine-tuned the arm swinging locomotion
Fine-tuned the ammo clip on all weapons
New Level! The Hive comes with 1 hr of gameplay. It includes crazy arena fights and tricky puzzles - Optimized enemy AI - enemies will seek you out and follow you. They get harder to defeat - New melee weapon - added for out of ammo situations! - New collectible shield - Added interactions with certain environment elements - Increased number of checkpoints throughout (beyond infamous #14!) - New puzzle elements all through the game - New objectives in each level - Some of the doors in VINDICTA are now locked - you must find the key! - 12 new skins - one for each weapon (total of 12 weapon types!) - Kasted and LAW weapon not rechargeable anymore - once used you can dispose of them - As you progress in the game
Enemy health increases
Enemy bullets become faster
Enemy fire rate increases
Enemy movement speed increases
Level changes:
Extended gameplay for each level (15-30min longer)
Higher level of difficulty in each level
New enemies encountered
New enemy types added:
Floating alarm detector - if it detects you, it will throw a rage of electric shocks (mini boss)
Flame thrower - enemy that shows no mercy
Electrified spider - shoots electric stuns at you and then runs for cover
More content!
Easter eggs can be found throughout the game
Weapons attained through Easter eggs have +2 damage over other weapons
Friendly scientists are not so friendly anymore! They can spit at you so you no need to feel guilty for shooting them anymore :) Next order of business: Oculus launch date to be announced soon!
