Repeated intro
Hello, Everyone! We have a large and exciting build for you all! In addition to a great many bug fixes, we have also done a complete overhaul to the monster parts system in the game, added new story content to the lower levels, and, last but not least, have added the Midsummer's special event zone, The Twilight Vale. Villagers and Heroes changes
The Midsummer's Event Returns! Featuring:
The return of the Twlight Vale, and special event zone where all players are equalized to the same level.
9 brand new event quests, plus quests from last year, and 2 dailies, a total of 13! (lots to do!)
The bounty ladder returns against the council of the five fae!
16 outfits IN the event, with 6 of the outfits being brand new!
A new rare boss that spawns in the vale
Various treats and goodies to help you in your adventures!
Ardent City put up its midsummer lights, and set up their firework system
- Special NoteSome of the new quests and tasks in the event may be very difficult for certain players. This was intentional as these quests give players the chance at earning amazing new outfits. Players can choose what outfit they wish to pursue, or maybe have a friend help them and get a few. What you do is up to you!
New Story Content Added For Levels 10 - 15
This is the first of a three part story line segment, so think of it as 'Part One.' It picks up right where the Malicious Miscreant quest left off - in Ardent Castle, speaking to Lady Philippa. (In order to start the quest a player needs to have either finished the 'Malicious Miscreant' quest line, or be a minimum level of 10)
Several zones have had visual make-overs
Addicts Ascent has been completely re-done
Bearhold Valley has been much enhanced (pssst! check out the bear, too!)
Bearhold Crypt is greatly improved
Memorial Pond, Lady's Lake, Kingsport, and Elk Meadow have all had alterations made
Ardent Castle has a new chamber
Monster Parts System Improvements
All existing fangs, milk, scales, silk, horns, claws, bristles, quills, and tusks have been removed from the game. These items have been replaced with 9 single items. This means there are 169 fewer items that players have to collect and manage.
The new monster parts have a new simple naming scheme, with a few parts being renamed:
Fang, Bone (changed from Tusks), Scales, Claw, Ichor (changed from Milk), Horn, Silk, Barb (changed from quill), and Fur (changed from bristles).
The new versions of monster parts are leveless, meaning they drop at any level, and they are used in all of the places that the existing monster parts were used e.g. if a recipe required 10 ‘Tiny Fangs’ it now requires 10 ‘Fangs’.
Pelts and the various level versions of pelts remain unchanged.
Monster parts now drop from specific enemy types. This is listed in the items description and in the item browser (from the Knowledge Book or from the Crafting Window). Additionally, enemies have a new line in their description if you mouse over their cameo that tells what types of things they may drop.
Pelts and Leather: There has also been requests from players concerning the rarity of pelts and the need of them for hunter gear.
To help address this, all enemies have been divided into two categories, “Humanoids”, and “Beasts.” Beasts will
