Many of these pristine areas have never even been visited by any human before. It is this wilderness that will become an indispensable element of the landscape that you will encounter at every step of your adventure... and you should consider yourself lucky! Why is that so?

It turns out that the wilderness (despite its numerous threats) is a source of many valuable raw materials and food, without which your settlement would quickly fall into ruin. As a wise, effective Jarl, you need to recognize both the opportunities and perils that come with venturing into the forests. And so, this is what we will devote today's Guide to - your survival in the mysterious, impenetrable wilderness. It's time to face the power of nature - come with us... and try not to get lost 🦌!

As we mentioned above, the forest is a source of many important raw materials, including wood, berries, mushrooms, herbs, stones, sticks and... many, many other useful goods. Today, however, we will focus on one particularly important activity that requires appropriate skills and cunning 🎯 It's time to grab your equipment, Jarl. Let the hunt begin...

Since we brought it up, let's start with your equipment, without which no hunt can be successful:

• The spear is considered the simplest, although still very effective hunting tool. It consists of a long handle, ensuring a firm grip, and a sharp tip, whose task is to knock down our prey. The crucial aspect of using this weapon is to quietly approach the target and then deliver a strong, precise throw. The better the materials a spear is made of, the better its effectiveness, so always try to obtain materials that will allow you to make improvements.

• The bow made of an appropriate type of wood allows you to shoot arrows with great speed and accuracy. And so, this weapon's advantage is its ability to make several quick shots, unlike the spear, which only offers a single chance to strike. As the bow and arrows become more advanced, their use becomes easier and more effective, granting you an advantage over forest dwellers.

Now that you've chosen your favorite hunting equipment, let's talk about your preys. The forests surrounding your settlement are full of wild animals, but there is a fundamental difference between their types. Some of them are timid and eager to run away... while others can kill you 💀
