More fixes and improvements!

I'm getting the hang of it I think I've finally understood how to update games and how to prioritise fixes and improvements based on your feedback and my own observations.

So here goes what I managed to do this week and what I'm planning on next week when I officially announce implementation of achievements.
fixedThis week:finally fixed the jamming audio tracks and for good! I got to the bottom of the problem and changed the whole thing completely. I also modified some of the tracks to make the transitions a little smoother and nicer,
changedThis week:escape button will now summon menu window when you're in the game scene, as it should have from the beginning. I'm adding this to my check-list for the next project.

I'm getting the hang of it

I think I've finally understood how to update games and how to prioritise fixes and improvements based on your feedback and my own observations. So here goes what I managed to do this week and what I'm planning on next week when I officially announce implementation of achievements.

This week:

  • finally fixed the jamming audio tracks and for good! I got to the bottom of the problem and changed the whole thing completely. I also modified some of the tracks to make the transitions a little smoother and nicer,

  • I dabbled with the image transition animation and made it shorter to make it appear less slide show-y. I know it's not the solution to the problem but I'll need more time to fix it completely so it's more of a temporary thing

  • escape button will now summon menu window when you're in the game scene, as it should have from the beginning. I'm adding this to my check-list for the next project.

Next week:

  • I'll announce the implementation of achievements! I'm working on it but as I'm not quite proficient in coding, so I'm going to need some more time with it

  • I'll smooth out saving your settings so that you don't have to change them everytime you launch the game. As of right now, I've determined the source of the problem, so that's a good start!

Keep your fingers crossed for me because if everything goes well then I might be able to work on DLCs and release them sooner! Stay safe and awesome!
