Vespia: Shield of Aberration changes
We are currently hard at work with getting new content into the game, and with the help of our playtesters, we have a lot of feedback to cover!
Here is a small snippet of some content we are currently working on!
Spirits
One issue we are having in our playtests is that players have nothing to do once they fully upgrade their characters. To address this, we are working to add spirits to the game. Spirits have the following behaviours:
Spirits function similar to normal wizards, in that they can be given spells and upgraded.
Spirits cost flux to maintain, if you don't have enough at the end of the wave then some spirits will disappear.
Overall, spirits are a great way to improve your defense and provide a continued use for your flux once the characters have reached their max level.
Minions: Golems
Minions are a summonable friendly entity which will move around the map and attack enemies. They have their own health pool, can be attacked and will die when they take sufficient damage. Minions are summonable through the card deck.
Improving Health
In the next update, we plan to improve how the player takes damage.
Currently, when an enemy reaches your neutraliser, they disappear and you lose health. We plan to change this so that enemies will instead continuously attack the goal until they are destroyed, allowing each enemy to hit the goal multiple times.
Demo
We are working hard to get the demo out to players. The demo will be an early-access build of the game which we aim to use to gather more feedback and improve before the release of the final game. We want the final game to be perfect, and releasing an early-access demo is the best way for us to achieve this. If you don't want to play the game early, then we recommend you wishlist the game and wait for the full release.
