addedWe are introducing a completely new way of progression to Versebound! It's something a bit crazy, something our community didn't expect, but also something that has been requested a lot! We are bringing stat based meta progression to the world of Kalevala! We've been really happy with the balance of the game, and it has served our hardcore audience well. On the other hand, most of the new players we've gotten feedback from have mentioned the game being too hard. And everyone who has ever balanced anything knows that it's always a subjective matter, it's always unbalanced to someone. The core idea of Versebound is, and has always been, to progress through skill and knowledge, by learning through every defeat and getting a bit farther every time. And we don't want to stray from that path. So, we came up with our own way to add stat based meta progression into the mix. Something that still keeps the game challenging to the hardcore audience, but also makes it more approachable for the players who enjoy grinding for stats as well! It's our way of doing it, and we are pretty psyched about it! We haven't yet had actual unbiased testers try it out though, so let's see how everyone likes it! We are not going to explain it further than that, play the game and find out how it works! 😊
addedWe are introducing a completely new way of progression to Versebound! On other news, there's now also environmental sounds in the Hub! Audio is an amazing way to bring the gaming experience alive, and we for sure want our game to feel immersive! We are keen to hear your feedback about this new addition as well.
addedWe are introducing a completely new way of progression to Versebound! On other other news, we've also made some minor tweaks to the game, like small bug and text fixes, and added some UI juice too!
changedWe are introducing a completely new way of progression to Versebound! The bug that causes some seemingly random, yet dramatic lag spikes is being inspected, hopefully we'll find the solution to that soon as well!
