📋 What's New?

🪐 Orbital Flight

We've lifted the restriction on flying only near the station—now you can embark on a journey around the Moon.

However, you cannot fly closer than 80 km to the surface or farther than 100,000 km. Landing has been postponed for future updates to allow us to refine this feature.

You now have access to a fully free orbital flight mode, where you can move with or without the flight assistant enabled.

For this update, we have significantly increased the power of ship engines to make space travel a bit easier.

This is a temporary measure, as we need to thoroughly test the world compositor under orbital speed conditions and make the gameplay more accessible until we implement all the necessary navigation tools.

🛰️ Orbital Objects

The starting station, where your journey begins, now moves in orbit around the Moon. Yes, in previous versions, it was stationary.

Additionally, we have added several orbital objects that you can find and visit.

Two of them are easily located in the ship's navigation panel (on the left); they can be selected as targets, so you will always know their positions.

The others remain hidden —they have no navigation markers, but they can still be discovered and visited.

🔫 Close-Range Combat

You can now activate ship weapons and fire at close-range targets.

Each of the three available ships has its own course weapons with unique characteristics.

You can test each one in battle against other players.

To add some variety, we've introduced the Outlaw Roster, where you can see the list of the most successful players.

For now, the list updates only after a server restart (usually once a day).

🌚 Celestial Body Generation

The procedural generation of massive orbital objects has been significantly improved.

You will notice this when looking at the Moon— performance has been enhanced, and landscape variety has increased.

Although landing is not yet possible, some surface details can already be seen from low orbit.

This is far from a complete list of everything we've worked on. You can experience all the new features firsthand in the demo build available on our website.

Don't forget to share your thoughts in our Discord server —the Verse Project team will be happy to hear your feedback!
