Verbal Verdict changes
We are thrilled to announce that update 0.8 is now live. This update significantly enhances the game's audio experience while also improving user interaction with menus and buttons. Additionally, we are introducing new cases and experimental features with this update.
AUDIO
The primary focus of this update is to enhance the game's audio, aiming to provide a more polished gaming experience. To achieve this, we have worked on incorporating sound effects and introducing a feature to give suspects a true voice!
Added sounds for most, if not all, evidence board items. These sounds can vary from simple effects on location maps to full voice-overs of statements and sticky notes.
Added EXPERIMENTAL ElevenLabs API support. With this feature, you can now have all suspects use normal generated voices. Please note that using this functionality requires an ElevenLabs API key and an active internet connection. Follow this guide for a step-by-step walkthrough on how to set it up.
Added ElevenLabs voices for each suspect.
CASES
With this update, we are introducing two new cases to the game, bringing the total to six. This amounts to more than three hours of content for players to explore and solve! We eagerly await your feedback on these cases. If you have any thoughts, please let us know!
Added "The Manuscript" case
Added "Walter" case
Added "NEW" badge to new cases that have been added in the latest update.
GUI
We've also made some changes to the game's UI. This was done to enhance the overall user experience and ensure that the menus better fit the game's style.
Reworked the settings menu to have separate pages for each subject (Audio, Gameplay, Experimental).
Added Dynamic Cursor coloring. When the cursor hovers over something white it will turn black and vise versa.
Updated the visuals of the GPU Warning. All other warnings and pop-ups will also use this same style.
OTHER FIXES
Fixed a bug where the calendar didn't work when exiting the play screen and clicking back into it.
Removed abbreviations like Dr. and Mr. from suspect prompts and replaced them with their full word.
We hope you'll enjoy these new features and the addition of new cases. If you have any feedback, please feel free to email us at support@savannadevelopments.com or create a topic on the discussion page.
