Dev Log #6 (Build 0.0.6.3)

It's been too long since the last Dev Log, clubbers! I've been extremely busy getting the game ready for it's Early Access release and it's nearly there. Some new features include: A working phone!

addedA working phone! The ability to make calls has been added to the game (still very much in beta). So far, only 1 call is available. I look forward to seeing what other functions (and fun) can be added to using this device.
added3rd-person position selector menu for intimacy events. As you know, the game occurs in first-person viewing mode most of the time, including during the intimacy events. Now, the ability to not only view these events in 3rd person has been added, but also the ability to switch positions (and cameras) during these events in real-time is available (all while remaining in 3rd person).
changedEverything else in the game is continuously improving (and will continue to do so long after the initial release). Background NPCs continue to be added and improved. Animations are continuously added and improved for these characters. The level design is effectively complete and polish will continue in this area for as long as the game is in development.

I have started plotting the course for the next stage of the game and planning post-release updates.

The next big thing to work on will be a trailer for the game. I want to try to have it for the next Dev Log.

And, of course, everyone wants to know: "When is the release date?" and I unfortunately have to give the over-used response: "It's done when it's done." It might be in 4 weeks and it might be in 4 months. It will almost certainly not be less than that time frame and almost as likely not much more than that (if more).

I'm also looking at a fun promotion that will be available for people who want to support and / or improve the game. More details on this later!
