Roadmap for Early Access

Dear Community, since our Early Access release, some time has already passed, and a lot has been happening behind the scenes! We are working intensively on the further development of Varthos and would like to open the gates for the first time today to share our upcoming plans with you and give you an outlook on how Varthos will evolve over the coming months.

Features & Gameplay We are continuously expanding Varthos with new content: new skills, additional traits, and new achievements will provide more variety and long-term motivation. At your request, we will also introduce difficulty levels that allow you to choose how you want to approach your battles. The loot system will also be further expanded, featuring new drops, boss rewards, and random discoveries throughout the game world to make every run more exciting and diverse.

Quality of Life Another major focus is improving your gameplay experience. This includes controller support, a revised and more accessible tutorial, as well as ongoing bug fixes and optimizations.

Story & World The world of Varthos continues to grow. Additional lore elements will deepen the story, while a new biome will introduce fresh environments, enemies, and challenges.

What’s Next? This is intentionally just a brief overview. We can’t wait to present the individual roadmap points to you in more detail over time and explain what each update will bring and how the new features will integrate into the game.
