🏡 A Little Look into Uptasia’s Future – Community Preview Incoming

Uptasia has grown a lot over the years — bigger cities, higher levels, and more friends to visit than ever before. With that growth, some of you started running into issues, especially when visiting large, high-level cities.

We’ve been quietly working on something big to make Uptasia feel smoother and more comfortable for everyone. Today, we’re happy to invite you to take an early look at this new version through a community preview.

This is not the final release, but a chance for you to explore what’s coming next and help us fine-tune it together.

✨ What’s changing?

The new version is built on a modern foundation that removes old limitations and gives Uptasia more room to grow.

What this means for you:

• Visiting friend cities should feel much smoother, even at higher levels

• Improved stability as cities become larger and more detailed

• Small usability improvements based on community feedback

All features you know and love are still there — just with a bit more breathing room.

🧪 Join the Community Preview

We’re opening a beta branch so you can try the new version early and share your thoughts with us.

How to join:

1. Open your Steam Library

2. Right-click Uptasia

3. Choose Properties

4. Go to Game Versions & Betas

5. Select uptasia_community_preview

6. Let the game update — and jump in!

💾 Your account & progress

The community preview uses your regular Uptasia account.

• Everything you do in the beta will carry over to the normal version

• There’s no separate test account

• You can switch between beta and live versions at any time

So feel free to play normally — your progress is safe.
