Since it’s been a while since I’ve posted an update on the Steam page, I figured I’d pop in to leave a little update.
Firstly, there’s a Q&A video on the YouTube channel, so if you missed it, you should totally go subscribe over there.
Dev is going well! I’m currently working on pre-alpha 10, which is my big “feature complete” milestone. I’m hoping to get there in about a month. Here’s the feature breakdown:
Save/load - New health system - Station undocking and docking (service modules and docking ports) - Thermal control systems (coolant loops and radiators) - Fluids (valves and tanks) - Fuel (electrolysis and cryogenics) - Mining upgrades (procedural generation and a new refinery) - Reworking the radar module - More wreckage to explore and story to discover - Either an upgrade to module storage or some new outboard equipment controls, depending on time.
So yeah, a huge update. I’ll make a video going a little more in depth into each feature once they’re all finished in a couple month’s time.
I know on the outside it probably doesn’t look like I’m doing anything now that Demo v2 patching has wrapped up, but trust me, I am. My full GitHub changelog is publicly available on the Discord server and gets automatically updated, so if you want to follow along with day-to-day development, join me over there.
