Unlasting Horror changes
Full Game Rework - New Graphics, New Animations, New Gameplay. I have been working on updates daily for about 2 months now here is the latest changes:
SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR MORE GAMEPLAY SCREENSHOTS
Added Multiple Hidden Easter Eggs, Secret Weapons, and more.
Finished the first level for the main game
Updated main menu and settings
New Foliage/Landscape Graphics Overhaul for main game first level
Updated Multiplayer connections, you can now join through steam no problem
Added 2 new assault rifles and 2 pistols
Added feature when you burn an altar it stuns and damages each monster
Added counter at the top right for how many altars are left/burned
Made controls at start pop up and stay longer
Updated the start of the map and added a buyable vendor where you can buy equipment
New Doors in the works, some already placed around the map with keys to find
New monsters added, now there is a total of 2-4 monsters with chances to spawn as well.
Destroy all the power towers to stop monsters from spawning
Added Voice Dialogue In A Radio at the Start of the Map Haunted House. (Voice is by Sebastion Born from our Ravesta Games Discord) *We need more voices if anyone is interested feel free to join discord!
Fixes to Broken Doors not working
Fixes to any issues regarding movement with stamina, its now fixed.
Improved networking with lag compensation for P2P Networking on Steam for a smoother experience.
Adjustments to overall Level of Detail
Optimized by removing unnecessary objects in certain places and combining more well lit scenes without the cost of the framerate
2 new areas were created with the existing space without costing more usage or lag.
Adjustments made to the AI Navigation to improve AI and the map
Added 2 new keys, and 2 new key CARDS that are in the level and all thoroughly tested to verify 100% success rate
Fixed Pistol ammo size (still no ammo spawns just that pistol wtih that ammo will add more weapons later on)
Updated Note at the start of haunted house to make it more clear as what to do objective wise.
Fixed LOUD Monster Noises.
Added small Jumpscare by the house
Added New Game Logo to Main Menu
Added new effects to altors burning
Added new fog effects and improved over visual lighting with fog now runs better
Improved Issues with Monster Ai
Fixed to fat to fit inside the barn door lol
Removed compass for now and just left minimap
New Lobby UI
Lobby Improvements In-Game
Character Movement Speed Slightly Increased
Monster AI sounds updated
New Monster AI Animations
New Main Menu
New Pause Menu
New Settings Menu
Updated Code to Door
Overall Visual Improvements to Lighting/Weather
Enabled New Night Time Lighting and Sky Sphere
Opened up spawn area x2 sizes
Opened up grave yard area opened x3 sizes
Updated Salt Pickups Spawns
Moved gun spawn
Optimizations made to overall level
Fixed bug where you would hit invisible walls around the map/doors
Improvements to Monster AI Netcode/Attack *Still needs work
Added Spectate System so you can fly around when you die.
Added more locations for altars/matches now its 7/7 you must collect to win.
Fixes to Audio not being linked to some sounds
Many other various bugs, optimizations, features may have been added as well.
Working tested multiplayer up to 1-5 players.
Play with friends against monster ai
2 different endings
2 side objectives
2 hidden easter eggs
4 monster ais
2 playable monster types
- solo, multiplayer and offline lan co-op works too.
So while it may seem more limited, the game is more fun and enjoyable due to the nature of the simplistic design choices in this new version of unlasting horror, levels will feature different types of environments with different ai.
Please note i spent every day some days 20 full hours with no sleep to complete this new version of the game, and while sales are low and the game has been out over 2 years now, I felt this was the right decision for my community and players. I just hope you all enjoy the major changes to the game and feel as its the right direction let me know your feedback.
