UNHUMAN Demo: Patch Notes (June 28)
Sixteen bug fixes from your Discord bug reports are now live.
Skill Tree / Combat
Executioner now works correctly: enemies below 10% HP die instantly from any damage source (weapon, DoT, reflect, status). Shows "EXECUTED!" floating text. Player's actual damage value is preserved for achievements.
Painkiller & Second Wind reworked:
Now have a passive trigger — fire 1 second after HP drops below 40%, even if you don't take damage
Heal distributes across all body parts (previously only healed the part that was hit)
Floating text + HP bar visual feedback added
Vampiric Rounds (proto affix) now triggers on killing shots (parity with Void Heart and magazine lifesteal).
Void Heart guarantees a minimum 1 HP heal on low-damage hits (previously 10 damage × 5% would floor to 0).
Prototype Items
Module Class Flip glitch protocol now works on both apply methods (random Glitch Mote and Code Vault codes): it flips one mod's class and rescales its value — Patch→Kernel (×2.5, adds a downside) or Kernel→Patch (×0.4, clears the downside). Previously the tooltip showed ×2.5 but the character tab didn't update, and applying it via a Code Vault code only swapped mod labels without changing any values.
Echo-Tap Routine glitch protocol:
Format fixed, now triggers every 3rd shot (was every 15th due to wrong format string)
Plays nice with Prototype Magazine's infinite ammo, echo-tap's 2nd shot no longer drains the ammo pool
Tech Terminal now displays the correct description
Overcharge Protocol + Auto-Repair Nanites combo now works: auto-repair restores full durability post-raid (Overcharge only blocks manual repair, as intended).
Prototype Magazine no longer drops as a stat-less item from POI loot — it only appears via its proper drop paths (custom-tier mob bonus, Warden, Extract bonus, Forge) with rolled affixes.
Glitch effects cache invalidation: glitches applied via Code Vault now take effect immediately (previously the cache could remain stale and the glitch wouldn't trigger).
Trader / Stash
Hustler Proto Boost is now properly saved — your boost stack persists across restarts and prestige resets.
Safebox now shows a notification on death: "X item(s) returned to stash from Safebox" (items were always preserved, but the message was missing).
Modification Tab save/reload ghost-modify bug fixed: applying mods after a reload no longer consumes currency when no item is actually selected.
System Fixes
Game.healAllBodyParts helper added — 6 systems (Trauma Response, combat regen, HP regen, Void Heart lifesteal, Vampiric Rounds, Magazine Lifesteal) now correctly update body part HP (previously silently failed).
POI queue while searching now works correctly — clicking another POI mid-search queues it and builds a path to it, instead of ignoring the click and walking to the nearest POI.
Notes
This patch is save-compatible — existing characters are safe.
Echo-Tap/Strike/Block glitches applied before this patch are stored in the old (wrong) format. Re-apply the glitch via Code Vault to switch to the correct format.
Hustler proto boosts purchased before this patch were not saved. Boosts purchased after this patch persist correctly.
