Hello everyone,

fixedI know there are bugs that were never fixed, broken achievements, and many improvements suggested by players that never made it into the game. I understand your frustration, and I am truly sorry.
removedUnfortunately, I am no longer able to continue development on Unextinction. My current PC has very limited storage, and I cannot reinstall Unreal Engine 5.3 and the project files to work on updates. I am also fully focused on developing my second game, NULL, and I want to make sure I avoid the mistakes and issues that affected Unextinction.
changedI also cannot make the game free. Many players purchased the game and supported me, and I do not think it would be fair to those who bought it.
changedMy plan is to finish and release NULL. After that, I hope to purchase a better PC using the money earned from it. With improved hardware, I may be able to revisit Unextinction in the future and look into fixes, improvements, or other updates if possible.
changedThank you to everyone who supported Unextinction, provided feedback, reported bugs, and gave the game a chance. Whether you enjoyed it or were disappointed by it, your support and feedback helped me grow as a developer and taught me valuable lessons that I am applying to NULL.

First of all, I want to sincerely apologize to anyone who has been disappointed by the current state of Unextinction.

I know there are bugs that were never fixed, broken achievements, and many improvements suggested by players that never made it into the game. I understand your frustration, and I am truly sorry.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to continue development on Unextinction. My current PC has very limited storage, and I cannot reinstall Unreal Engine 5.3 and the project files to work on updates. I am also fully focused on developing my second game, NULL, and I want to make sure I avoid the mistakes and issues that affected Unextinction.

At the moment, I do not have the time or storage space needed to continue supporting the game. Unextinction was originally developed with a $0 budget, and because of that, I was unable to achieve the level of quality, content, and features that I had envisioned for it.

Today, every dollar earned from Unextinction goes directly toward funding NULL. Since NULL also started with a $0 budget, I am using everything I earn to improve the quality of my next game and create the experience I originally wanted to deliver. While I am proud of what I managed to create with the resources I had, I know Unextinction did not fully reach the vision I had in mind.

I also cannot make the game free. Many players purchased the game and supported me, and I do not think it would be fair to those who bought it.

My plan is to finish and release NULL. After that, I hope to purchase a better PC using the money earned from it. With improved hardware, I may be able to revisit Unextinction in the future and look into fixes, improvements, or other updates if possible.

I know this is not the update many of you were hoping for, but I wanted to be honest about my situation instead of making promises I cannot guarantee.

Thank you to everyone who supported Unextinction, provided feedback, reported bugs, and gave the game a chance. Whether you enjoyed it or were disappointed by it, your support and feedback helped me grow as a developer and taught me valuable lessons that I am applying to NULL.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
