Underworld Dreams changes
Today, we’re ecstatic to announce Underworld Dreams: The False King for both PC and Nintendo Switch. You might be wondering, “What about Underworld Dreams - you know, this game we’re following on Steam?”
Fear not! The False King is one of two games we're developing in the Underworld Dreams series. We’re hard at work on both titles, but The False King is set to be the first release later this Spring, as a roughly 3-5 hour experience to set the tone for the future of the series. Underworld Dreams, the game you’re all here for, will launch later this summer as a longer horror experience that continues the exploration of the Lovecraftian genre.
Take a look at the announcement trailer that premiered on IGN:
Based on the works of HP Lovecraft (and Robert W. Chambers' The King in Yellow) and set in the 1980s, Underworld Dreams: The False King tells the story of a man who has tracked down his missing brother to a seemingly abandoned building that hides something much more sinister behind its decrepit walls.
In the weeks ahead, players will be invited to try an exclusive demo during a special event (you can probably guess what but that announcement will come later). In the meantime, we ask that you please wishlist Underworld Dreams: The False King on the Steam Page here.
